DSD problems with first files

Some DSD files have issues playing when they are the first file of the disc, attaching log of the exact same file with only the name and one tag changed, one works and the other doesn’t work

In FAIL case, there is a message of “Error: Top of DSD data is not stable.”

This is checking the stability of DSD data before playback and stopping playback if it determines the data is not stable. By default, this check is disabled (=No check). Please verify the following setting:

– TreeItem: ASIO or WASAPI settings – <Your device>
– Property: DSD matters – Check DSD stable

With Check Strict – 5 files give error (2 albums)

With Check Range – 4 files give error (same album)

With No Check – No file give error

 

But why the checking gives error only when the file is the first of the disc? Ive checked once again all 5 files with the Strict Check and all work when they have the track number tag 2 instead of 1

Tracks other than the first one often continue from previous, and it is not generally stable. Therefore, TuneBrowser only checks the first track (track number 1).

Oh i see, that certainly explains why it happens, should i be worried about my files? I dont mind having the check off but if they have problems i could try to rip them again to fix it

This check is disabled by default. If playback is not affected, there is no need to worry.
